A federal judge dismissed a DOJ lawsuit that sought Rhode Island voters’ data, birth dates, addresses, driver’s license numbers and partial Social Security numbers. Judge Mary McElroy ruled that federal law does not permit the DOJ to conduct fishing expeditions.
