Film Independent Launches Robert Redford Environmental Vision Award for Spirit Awards

Film Independent is expanding the Film Independent Spirit Awards by introducing the Robert Redford Environmental Vision Award. Created in partnership with The Redford Center, this new honor recognizes narrative film and television works that engage with environmental issues through innovative and impactful storytelling. The award will celebrate a singular American narrative feature film, with the next Film Independent Spirit Awards marking the first year that the Robert Redford Environmental Vision Award is officially given out.
