Authorities identify Happy Face Killer victim found in California

California authorities have identified Lydia Jane Wade McWhorter as the final unknown victim of the Happy Face Killer, Keith Hunter Jesperson. Her body was discovered along a highway in 1992, and identification was achieved through DNA testing nearly 34 years later. Jesperson is confirmed to have killed eight victims across several U.S. states between 1990 and 1995. He reportedly mailed letters regarding his crimes, and this discovery closes the search for his last unidentified victim.
