First British-made artillery barrels head to Ukraine

The first shipment of 150 British-made artillery barrels is currently heading to Ukraine. These components are being produced by Sheffield Forgemasters, marking the first time the UK has forged such barrels in nearly twenty years. To support this effort, the UK has established an artillery sustainment hub in Sheffield. This facility appears to be heavily reliant on specific contracts designed to maintain and sustain Ukrainian military systems through these critical replacements.
