BMW Championship first round at Bellerive Country Club

The first round of the 2026 BMW Championship took place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Bellerive Country Club in Town & Country, Mo. During the competition, professional golfer Michael Brennan was seen placing his ball for a putt at Hole 16. Additionally, professional golfer Patrick Cantlay and his caddie, Joe LaCava, prepared for a putt at the same hole as the tournament commenced its initial stage of professional play.
