Florida fisher dragged into water and killed by 12ft alligator

Steve Hamilton, a 71-year-old man, was killed on Friday while fishing on the shoreline of a pond in Winter Garden, Florida. According to local police and the state’s fish and wildlife conservation commission, a nearly 12-foot alligator attacked Hamilton and dragged him into the water. This rare animal attack resulted in the man's death, and the alligator was subsequently killed. This incident marks the second fatal alligator attack reported in the region recently.
