Nearly 500 homes damaged in Kerr County as community unites to rebuild once again

Governor Abbott reported that Texas floods destroyed or heavily damaged 135 homes in Kerr County, while another 490 residences require repairs. Long-term housing has become a pressing need following these storms. In response, Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville is organizing community efforts to assist with rebuilding. This initiative follows previous recovery work conducted after the catastrophic 2025 Independence Day Floods, as the local community unites once again to support affected residents.
