Florida holds primaries for governor and Congress, testing Trump's grip on adopted state

Florida voters cast ballots on Tuesday to select Republican and Democratic nominees for governor, U.S. Senate, and various congressional races. These primaries are critical in defining the midterm ballot and serve as a significant test of President Donald Trump's influence within his adopted state. Among the candidates involved is Congressman Byron Donalds. Florida is one of three states conducting primary elections on this day to determine their official candidates for these key political offices.
