Food pantry now housing those in need, too

Gateway Food Pantry in Arnold has expanded its mission by purchasing two houses for long-term clients in need, with plans to acquire five homes total. Beneficiaries include an Army veteran in Imperial who struggled after serving and a thyroid cancer survivor and her daughter who previously resided in low-income housing. This initiative allows the organization to provide permanent residential stability to families beyond offering groceries, directly supporting individuals as they get back on their feet.
