Former California parks chief accused of filming nude lifeguards in Orange County locker room

Kevin Pearsall, a 59-year-old former California State Parks superintendent from Long Beach, faces felony charges for secretly recording employees. Prosecutors allege that from August 2024 through July 2025, Pearsall installed a camera inside a Huntington Beach locker room in Orange County. The device reportedly captured footage of nearly two dozen naked state lifeguards and other workers. The District Attorney's office has charged the former official following the discovery of these illicit recordings within the facility.
