Former Michigan hockey players sue, alleging years of sexualized hazing

Sixteen former Michigan Wolverine hockey players have filed a 74-page complaint in Detroit's federal court, alleging they were subjected to ritualized and sexualized abuse. The lawsuit claims these actions were part of the program's standard hazing traditions. According to the legal filing, these abusive practices occurred within the hockey program starting from 1984. The plaintiffs seek accountability for the years of systemic misconduct they experienced as members of the university's athletic team during their tenure.
