Four astronauts return to Earth after eight months in space

Four astronauts, including mission commander Jessica Meir from Maine, returned to Earth on Thursday after spending eight months aboard the International Space Station. The crew had departed in February to replace previous personnel. The landing took place following their extended mission in space, marking the conclusion of their deployment. This return to Earth follows their eight-month tenure, during which they operated from the International Space Station before completing their assigned duties and returning home safely.
