French Pay-TV Giant Canal+ Ceases Distribution of Some TF1 Group Channels in France, Switzerland and Africa

Canal+ Group has ceased distributing several TF1 Group channels across France, Switzerland, and Africa following the collapse of negotiations. Affected channels include TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films, LCI, Ushuaïa TV, and Histoire TV. This carriage dispute occurs shortly after TF1 Group established a distribution partnership with Netflix in France, allowing subscribers access to specific content since June 19. The London-listed pay-TV giant confirmed the breakdown of discussions led to the service removal.
