Google brings its Lyria 3.5 music model to every Gemini user

Google has launched Lyria 3.5, expanding AI music generation to the Gemini app and API. This upgrade enables the creation of full-length stereo songs at 44.1kHz using text or image prompts, moving beyond the 30-second limit of Lyria 3. The model integrates SynthID watermarking and is available in Flow Music with tempo and duration controls. Meanwhile, a Munich court ruled against Suno regarding memorised works and infringing outputs, asserting jurisdiction over training conducted outside the EU.
