George Lucas Will Be In ‘Minions & Monsters’

George Lucas is ending his show business retirement to participate in the upcoming Illumination project titled Minions & Monsters. The Star Wars creator will lend his voice to a character in the film, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 1. Illumination founder and producer Chris Meledandri discussed the collaboration in an interview with Collider, noting that Lucas's affinity for the Minions led to his inclusion in the production.
