Ghost in the Ledger: open-weight AI that finds the ghosts haunting your bank statement

Two open-source AI projects were submitted for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 4. Ghost in the Ledger analyzes bank statements in PDF or CSV formats to identify hidden subscription costs and spending patterns across various currencies. Simultaneously, RepoGeist serves as a privacy-first Git archaeology application. It utilizes a local open-weight AI model to reconstruct repository histories, allowing developers to investigate deleted code and trace the evolution of commits and contributors within their Git objects.
