Giants’ J.J. McCarthy rally falls short in wild loss to Saints as Jameis Winston gets benched

The Giants suffered a 34-27 loss to the Saints at MetLife Stadium. After the team allowed 34 consecutive points, Jameis Winston was benched for J.J. McCarthy. Although McCarthy led a strong rally during a magic fourth quarter, the effort was insufficient to secure a victory against the spiraling Saints. Following the Sunday defeat, discussions have emerged regarding whether the Giants will permanently bench Jameis Winston in favor of J.J. McCarthy, with John Harbaugh providing his perspective.
