Gmail’s end-to-end encryption comes to mobile, a year after its web launch

Google added end‑to‑end encryption to its Gmail app on Android and iOS for Workspace users, letting them compose and read encrypted messages. Encrypted emails can be sent to any recipient, appearing as standard threads if the recipient uses Gmail.
