Google gives Pixel 9 another year of free Satellite SOS connectivity

Google is extending the free availability of the Satellite SOS feature for its Pixel 9 series smartphones. Although the initial timer had expired, the company will not begin charging users for this emergency connectivity service yet. This extension ensures that Pixel 9 users can continue to call for help from remote locations without additional costs. The Satellite SOS functionality will now remain free for these specific devices until the year 2027, maintaining essential safety access.
