Google removes free access to Gemini Flash and Pro on October 9

Starting October 9, Google will remove free access to Gemini Flash and Pro AI models. Users on the free plan will be limited exclusively to the Flash Lite model. To maintain access to the standard Flash model, users must now purchase a Google AI Plus subscription for $4.99 per month. Previously, free users could choose between Gemini Flash Lite, Flash, and Pro, but these options are being restricted to paid subscribers moving forward.
