Google tests letting Gemini call businesses for you

Google is launching an early experiment called Call for Me, exclusively for Pixel 11 owners in the U.S. with a Gemini subscription. This feature allows users to delegate local business calls to Gemini, enabling the AI to handle tasks such as making reservations, checking product availability, or rescheduling appointments. Users no longer need to dial manually or wait on hold, as Gemini manages the entire communication process directly with the businesses on their behalf.
