Google's Pixel Tag Could Be The First Major AirTag Alternative For Android

Google has unveiled the Pixel Tag, a $29 item tracker launching November 11 to compete with Apple's AirTag. The slim, oval-shaped device in Fog color weighs 12g and features an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It utilizes UWB and Bluetooth 6.0 Channel Sounding for precision tracking via Find Hub. Made from stainless steel, it uses CR2032 batteries and includes a built-in speaker and a button to trigger sounds on connected smartphones.
