Google just made switching from iPhone to Android much easier with Android 17

Android 17 introduces an upgraded wireless native migration tool that simplifies switching from iPhone to Android. The tool now transfers passwords, passkeys, eSIM, Wi-Fi credentials, and Google Accounts, alongside existing support for photos, videos, contacts, messages, and calendars. This process requires an iPhone running iOS 26.3 or later. These app-free transfer tools were implemented by Google and Apple to ensure compliance with the European Union's Digital Markets Act during the initial setup of new smartphones.
