Trump says he hasn’t heard audio of Ken Paxton discussing polling dip post-midterm convention

President Donald Trump denied hearing leaked audio of Republican Texas Senate nominee Ken Paxton. In the reported recording, Paxton allegedly told donors at a fundraiser that the Republican National Committee midterm convention negatively impacted his political campaign against Democrat James Talarico. While addressing reporters regarding the claims, Trump stated he had not heard the audio but emphasized that the convention was amazing, contrasting Paxton's reported complaints about the event's failure to boost his electoral standing.
