GOP senator says Trump is being played like a ‘fiddle’ on Russia

A GOP senator has asserted that Trump is being played like a fiddle concerning Russia. This criticism follows widespread bipartisan backlash directed at Trump after he decided to waive Russian sanctions on Friday. The senator's remarks highlight internal party tension and broader political opposition to the decision. The move to lift these sanctions has sparked significant controversy across the political spectrum, leading to public condemnation of the administration's current approach toward the Russian Federation.
