Grace Hopper Celebration canceled two weeks out as AnitaB.org runs short of funds

AnitaB.org has canceled the 2026 Grace Hopper Celebration, scheduled for October 27-30 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The nonprofit organization stated that registrations and sponsorships fell significantly below the levels required to cover event costs. Brenda Darden Wilkerson, president and CEO of AnitaB.org, expressed deep regret over the decision. GHC is recognized as the largest gathering of women in technology, frequently serving as a critical venue for attendees to connect with potential employers.
