Flipboard acquires Portland startup Graze in bid to ‘re-orient the attention economy’

Flipboard has acquired Graze, a Portland-based startup specializing in customizable algorithm engines. Graze allows creators to build, tune, and monetize custom social feeds without writing code, primarily operating on Bluesky. Since its inception 21 months ago, Graze has delivered over 41 billion posts to 12 million users. Flipboard intends to integrate this technology into its open social web platform to re-orient the attention economy by utilizing Graze's infrastructure for custom social feeds.
