Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick reports that pre-orders for GTA 6 are exceptional. Specifically, the $100 Ultimate Edition for PS5 is currently selling more pre-orders than the $80 Standard Edition. Zelnick suggests this trend indicates that the most avid players are opting for the most expensive version of the game. Despite some controversy leading up to the launch, a majority of consumers are willing to spend more on the premium edition of the title.
