Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge: Build for a Friend

Participants in the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge developed specialized tools for loved ones. One creator built MindFlare, a daily brain-exercise app featuring mental math and memory recall to help elderly parents combat forgetfulness through engaging games. Another developer created Tech4Health, an AI-powered emergency healthcare platform. Tech4Health integrates real-time hospital rankings, ICU bed availability, blood bank tracking, and GPS ambulance booking, alongside government health scheme eligibility like PM-JAY, using React, Vite, and open-weight AI models.
