HBO Gives Two-Season Order to Animated Comedy ‘Merrick & Treves’ From ‘Archer’ Alums

HBO has ordered two seasons of the half-hour animated comedy Merrick & Treves. Co-created and executive produced by Archer alumni Adam Reed, Casey Willis, and Lucky Yates, the series is set within Queen Victoria’s top-secret Royal Temporal Constabulary. The plot follows a team of unlikely heroes who voyage back in time, specifically aiming to stop Jack the Ripper. This move marks HBO's return to the animated comedy genre with this original production from the experienced Archer team.
