Dadur Ranna (দাদুর রান্না) — Preserving Grandma's Handwritten Recipes with Open-Weight Gemma

Dadur Ranna is a project created for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge to preserve family culinary memories. The application utilizes open-weight Gemma and Render to digitize handwritten Bengali recipes and informal stories. It transforms brittle diary pages, voice messages, and colloquial shorthand into a private, source-grounded digital cookbook. This tool ensures that traditional cooking methods, often passed down through generations via memory or faded ink, are preserved for future family members to access.
