Dangerous heat increasing through the week

Greater Akron is currently facing dangerous levels of heat and humidity, leading to the issuance of a Heat Advisory. Although September marks the beginning of Meteorological Fall, current temperatures do not reflect the season. Instead, conditions remain consistent with the middle of Summer, with dangerous heat expected to increase throughout the week. Residents are warned that the weather remains intense and far from the typical cooling associated with the transition into the autumn season.
