Ashland volunteers celebrate 100th food pickup for local food bank

Ashland volunteers celebrated their 100th food pickup for a local food bank, a grassroots initiative that has collected over 2.3 million pounds of food since 2009 and spread nationwide. Meanwhile, Helena Food Share hosted a Summer Lot Party on June 12. The event featured tents, games, and bubbles for children, allowing attendees to eat and learn more about local groups while exploring the parking lot area during the community gathering.
