High School Football Player Practiced for an Hour with Venomous Snake Inside Helmet

High school football preparations for the 2026 season began on Tuesday, August 11. At the Tom Staffileno Activity Complex, Kelly Walsh players performed sprints, push-ups, and drills under coach Randy Roden, featuring Logan Atnip and Quinn Alvar. Simultaneously, Natrona County players, including Cooper Rogers and Patton True, practiced at Cheney Alumni Field. Separately, an Arkansas high school football player discovered a venomous cottonmouth snake inside his helmet after practicing for nearly an hour during a recent session.
