Lincoln man sentenced for taking 8-year-old boy from park

A man was sentenced to three years in prison for taking an 8-year-old boy from a Lincoln park. In a separate incident, the body of a 15-year-old boy was recovered from Pistakee Lake in Fox Lake. The Lake County Sheriff's Office stated the teen disappeared after falling or jumping from a boat without a flotation device. Divers and an underwater drone located the body hours after friends unsuccessfully attempted a rescue in the Chain O'Lakes.
