ICE plans to spend up to $20 million on C-T-G 5 Gloves, also known as G.L.O.V.E. devices, from Compliant Technologies. These electric shock gloves are intended as nonlethal tools to ensure compliance and subdue individuals during arrests. However, Governor Kathy Hochul and New York AG Letitia James have condemned these tactics.
