Sony Animation & Amazon MGM Studios Team For ‘The Haunting Of Hotel Transylvania’, Set Fall 2027 Theatrical Release

Sony Pictures Animation and Amazon MGM Studios are partnering for the fifth installment of the franchise, titled The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 8, 2027. Regarding distribution, Sony Pictures will handle the domestic market, while Amazon MGM Studios will manage international distribution. This collaboration follows previous arrangements where the Culver City lot licensed the fourth movie during the pandemic when theaters were closed.
