A suspect was arrested Monday after allegedly shooting a Chicago Police officer and another individual during a standoff in Albany Park. Police responded around 11 a.m. to reports of a woman shot in the face on the 4600 block of North Springfield Avenue. Interim Superintendent Fred Waller confirmed the incident, while internal reports detailed that the male suspect had barricaded himself inside a residence along with a teenager and an elderly woman.
