How I built an email-scanning SaaS audit engine with Next.js, Prisma and Neon

SaaSClerk was created to bridge the gap between remembered and actual SaaS subscriptions, as a mailbox scan revealed 23 tools compared to only 7 identified manually. Built with Next.js, Prisma, and Neon, the engine processes thousands of receipts and renewal notices. The primary technical challenge involves reading emails efficiently while maintaining strict privacy guarantees, avoiding the need for users to share passwords or grant full server access to their mailboxes during the auditing process.
