Claude Notify: Desktop Notifications for Claude Code on Windows

Anthropic's 2026 Usage Policy, effective November 12, prohibits sustained abusive or cruel behavior toward models, though ordinary frustration and profanity remain permitted. Claude may end conversations with persistently abusive users. Separately, Claude Notify has been released as a Windows tray app for Claude Code users in VS Code. This tool provides desktop notifications upon task completion, allowing users to return directly to the specific conversation window, eliminating the need for constant manual checking.
