The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 979, the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act of 2025, to prevent automakers from removing AM radio from new cars. This legislation has broad bipartisan support and is now on the Senate legislative calendar. Additionally, companion bill S. 315 has cleared committee and awaits a floor vote.
