I built a differential tester for TOON, and it found two silent-corruption bugs on the first run

A developer created a differential tester to verify if independent TOON implementations remain consistent. During its initial execution comparing the TypeScript reference and Python port, the tool identified two silent-corruption bugs, which have been filed upstream. TOON, or Token-Oriented Object Notation, provides a compact, line-oriented encoding of the JSON data model to reduce token counts in LLM prompts. The project focused on building a comparison oracle that avoids data corruption during the verification process.
