SlothSort: a local AI that tidies my Downloads folder while I sleep

SlothSort is a local-first AI file organizer developed by RHYTHMGUPTA for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge. This Python-based agent automates the cleanup of Downloads folders by analyzing file snippets to suggest meaningful filenames, categories, and summaries. Supporting documents, invoices, and code, it utilizes Ollama and pypdf without requiring API keys. Users maintain full control by reviewing suggestions before approval, with a journaling system allowing for easy undoing of all file movements.
