I turned my sister in law's voice notes into a cookbook that answers in her voice

Two separate projects were developed for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge to assist friends. One creator transformed voice notes from a sister-in-law into an interactive cookbook, preserving traditional recipes explained in English and Igbo. Another developer created Voice → Life, an AI tool that converts voice messages into structured, searchable memories. This system utilizes open-source tools, an open-weight language model, and local AI inference to help users easily retrieve specific information from buried conversations.
