Trip Buddy — I built my friend a budget trip planner on an open-weight model

Trip Buddy is a tool developed for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge to simplify travel planning. One version helps budget travelers by consolidating transport, affordable accommodation, and activities into a single form. Another version, built as a Node.js app, solves group indecision by identifying upcoming long weekends, proposing three trip options for six friends, and managing a voting system via email to finalize destinations without requiring a single leader to organize the entire process.
