study buddy

Two developers created specialized tools for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge. One built Study Buddy, a local-first web app featuring a Pomodoro Timer, 3D Flashcards, and a Quiz Generator to help Alex avoid tool fragmentation during technical exam preparation. Another developed StudyMate, a private AI-powered companion for Ben. StudyMate enables users to upload PDFs and academic notes, allowing them to interact with their specific study materials through natural language to summarize content and explain complex concepts simply.
