OpenAI has released a new plugin for the ChatGPT app on Mac that integrates with Apple Messages. This tool allows the AI to search conversations, provide summaries, and draft or send replies, sometimes without user permission. To function, the plugin requires Full Disk Access to the Mac. This development follows the Computer History feature that monitors user activity. Currently, this functionality is exclusive to macOS and is not available for Windows or mobile versions.
