How to Create a Skill in Claude Code

Claude Code introduces skills, which are folders containing a SKILL.md file. Unlike slash commands, skills are triggered autonomously by Claude based on the situation. Additionally, Claude Basecamp has been open-sourced to implement a reconciliation loop for codebases, similar to Kubernetes. This tool allows users to declare a desired state for multiple repositories. It can be launched via npx claude-basecamp on macOS, Linux, and Windows, operating without a database or configuration.
