‘I Play Rocky’ Star Anthony Ippolito Filmed His Own Audition Before He Even Had the Script

Actor Anthony Ippolito, who portrays Sylvester Stallone in Peter Farrelly's film I Play Rocky, revealed at TIFF that he filmed a self-tape audition after reading an article about the project, even before receiving the script. Ippolito described his experience speaking with Stallone prior to filming as overwhelming and daunting. This interaction followed more than a year of the actor intensively studying Stallone to prepare for the role in the production about the making of Rocky.
