I Built a Free Firefox New Tab Extension with Live Weather, World Clocks, and a Privacy Focus

The Weather Clock Dashboard is a free Firefox extension designed to replace cluttered or blank new tab pages. It provides live weather via the Open-Meteo API, including forecasts, humidity, and wind speed without selling data. Users can pin six world clocks for remote team coordination and utilize a customizable search bar. This tool reflects a broader trend in 2024 where users optimize browser real estate with productivity dashboards to replace generic default search boxes.
